Customer Returns

We offer a generous 30-day return window for all items that might arrive DOA (dead on arrival) or for items that were not as described at point of purchase. Our customer service team will be happy to assist you for your return. Our customer’s must contact us prior to the 30-day window ending to be eligible for a refund. This period begins when payment is tendered.

Items that have been damaged by customer’s after receiving the item is not covered and returns will be denied. Any product that is altered or modified in any way from the original OEM configuration will also not be eligible for a refund.

We will not accept a return if you do not contact us first.

We will provide you with a return shipping label – do not use your own shipping account.

Return labels will be emailed from surplusbydesign@gmail.com directly to your email on file for the purchase. No alternate emails will be used.

Please use the same shipping box to return the purchased item, plus any void fill to protect the item during transit. Items not properly packaged for return, could impact if a return is allowed. Any damage occurred in shipping due to poor packaging will be the customers responsibility and refunds may be denied.

Once we receive the item, we can either issue an exchange or a full refund. Some items sent in for a refund need to be inspected before a refund will be provided. These inspections can take up to three days after receiving the item.

Returned items not covered by this policy will be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
