Our promise to you is that we will ship every item within 24 hours (1 business day) of receiving cleared payment.

We do not offer local pick up of any of our items. We only ship to the confirmed shipping address.
UPS is our carrier of choice for almost all domestic shipments. We know that some buyers have had negative experiences with UPS charging fees upon delivery, but we guarantee that will not happen to any of our buyers with a Canadian address.
When you receive a package from an international seller via UPS, you are being charged customs brokerage fees, duties, and taxes. These fees are typically paid by UPS to the various government agencies, as a cost of international shipping and they are simply recouping these costs. These fees are never remitted to the seller. Since there are no borders to cross domestically, you will not face these fees.
Because we are a Canadian seller, you will not have to pay any fees upon delivery.
Canada Post is our carrier of choice for almost all USA shipments. We have found that Canada Post is our most dependable shipping option.
We use exclusively DHL Express to deliver our packages around the globe to our customers. PLEASE NOTE: Import duties and brokerage fees are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. All U.S. buyers MUST include their phone # in their shipping details. Please check with your local customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying, we are not able to estimate/quote these charges. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up. We DO NOT mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts"--- US, Canadian, and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.
We send you a tracking number as soon as we ship your package so that you can see the progress of your package.
Please be aware that International buyers will be subjected to brokerage fees as well as duties and taxes on all deliveries. These will be charged C.O.D. and are the responsibility of the Buyer. The shipping fee that you paid us covers only the cost of shipping, which we pre-paid. These additional fees are collected as the cost of importing, and are in no way remitted to SurplusbyDesign. Certain situations call for exceptions to the UPS carrier of choice policy.
PO Box and Rural Route addresses are reached with Canada Post/USPS Expedited Parcel. Expected delivery times are 3-7 business days depending on regions. Canada Post/USPSis more reliable in these situations than UPS, so we will automatically adjust the service, though it will not show on your invoice.
At this time we are unable to deliver to APO/AFO addresses.
UPS offers real-time package tracking, so you can always see the most recent activity on your package. You will receive your tracking information directly from UPS around 4pm EST on the day your unit is shipped. All items are sent requiring signature so items are never dropped at your door without your knowledge. If your item is sent as an expedited parcel via Canada post/USPS we will email you your tracking information directly.
