The Nextbase Hardwire Kit offers a plug and play solution to hardwire in your Nextbase Dash Cam. It contains the components to "piggyback" from a fuse box of a vehicle using a standard ATO/C or smaller ATM (mini) fuses.
The fuse tap cable can be plugged into the vehicle's fuse box to provide the Dash Cam with its own power supply, with no requirement for the 12V outlet.
If fitted to a “permanent live supply”, the inbuilt minimum voltage limiter will protect the vehicles battery from going flat. When on a “switched live” supply, the Dash Cam will power on and start recording automatically when the car starts. The Hardwire Kit includes an LED indicator light to show when the Dash Cam is connected, and power is available. Compatible with 12-24V for car or truck installations.
